Stingrays Lead American Conference

South Carolina has won its last seven games, tying the league season high set by Elmira from Oct. 16-31, to move atop the American Conference at 16-6-4. The Stingrays, who are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games, are second in the league with 36 points and a winning percentage of .692.

South Carolina, which has won its last two home games to improve to 5-4-2 at home, hosts Trenton on Friday and Saturday and Charlotte on Sunday. The Stingrays are fourth in the league on the penalty kill with 84.9 percent (118-for-139) and they are 10-1-4 in one-goal games.

Nikita Kashirsky of the Stingrays is tied for the league rookie lead with 13 goals and four game-winning goals while he is tied for fifth with 21 points in 26 games. Zach Tarkir is tied for fourth among ECHL defensemen with 12 assists and 15 points in 25 games. South Carolina's Todd Ford is 9-4-1 while rookie teammate Braden Holtby is 7-2-3. Ford is tied for second in wins while his 877 minutes and 411 saves rank third and his goals-against average of 3.15 ranks 18th. Holtby is tied for the league lead with two shootout wins and ranks 11th with a goals-against average of 2.95.

Cincinnati has won four in a row to improve to 13-8-1 and move within one point of North Division leader Kalamazoo (13-6-2). The Cyclones, who are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games, host Reading on Saturday and Sunday. Cincinnati is second in the league with a goals-against average of 2.77 and ranks third on the penalty kill with 85.4 percent (88-for-103).

Reading has won its last three games to improve to 13-8-2 and leads the East Division with 28 points, five points ahead of Elmira (10-9-3).

Bakersfield is 6-0-2 in its last eight games and 9-1-2 in the last 12 games and continues to lead the Pacific Division with 30 points (14-6-2). The Condors, who are 10-2-0 at home, host Utah, which is 6-1-0 on the road, on Friday and Saturday.

The Condors are tied for third with a goals-against average of 3.00 while rookie Timo Pielmeier is 8-4-2 and tied for fourth in wins and ranks 16th with a goals-against average of 3.02.

Utah is 2-0-1 in its last three games and 7-2-1 in the last 10 games to improve to 14-6-1. The Grizzlies are in second place in the West Division and fourth in the league with a winning percentage of .690. Utah ranks second in the league on the power play with 24.2 percent (31-for-128) and is tied for second in the league in scoring with 4.00 goals per game and tied for third with a goals-against average of 3.00.

Ryan Kinasewich of the Grizzlies leads the ECHL with 17 goals, five game-winning goals and 16 power-play points while his 33 points tie him for first and his 11 power-play assists are tied for second. Mitch O'Keefe of Utah is 10-2-1 and leads the league in wins while his two shutouts tie him for first and his goals-against average of 2.61 ranks fourth.

Idaho continues to lead the West and the ECHL with 37 points, 18 wins and a winning percentage of .804. The Steelheads, who are 6-3-0 at home, host Ontario on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Idaho leads the league with a goals-against average of 2.39 and ranks fifth on the penalty kill with 84.3 percent (91-for-108).

Rejean Beauchemin of the Steelheads is 8-2-0 while rookie teammate Richard Bachman, who is currently called up to the American Hockey League, is 9-2-1. Bachman leads the league with a goals-against average of 2.12 while his nine wins tie him for second and his save percentage of .916 ranks fourth. Beauchemin is third in goals-against average with 2.49 and tied for fourth with eight wins. Idaho's Evan Barlow is tied for second among ECHL rookies with five power-play goals and is tied for third with 22 points (10g-12a) in 23 games.



American Conference - North Division

Cincinnati Cyclones

* Cincinnati has won four in a row to improve to 6-1-0 in its last seven games.
* Brett Robinson has six goals and nine points in his last seven games.
* Cyclones host Reading on Saturday and Sunday.

Kalamazoo Wings
* Kalamazoo is 6-3-0 and has outscored its opponents 38-30 in nine home games.
* Matt Jones has seven points (5g-2a) in his last three games, including five points (4g-1a) at Toledo on Dec. 5.
* K-Wings host Reading on Wednesday, Toledo on Friday and Wheeling on Saturday.

Toledo Walleye

* Toledo earned its league-leading fourth overtime victory with a 5-4 win against Kalamazoo on Dec. 4.
* J.C. Sawyer leads ECHL defensemen with nine goals, 15 assists, 24 points and four game-winning goals.
* Walleye host Wheeling on Wednesday and play at Kalamazoo on Friday before home games against Elmira on Saturday and Sunday.

Wheeling Nailers
* Wheeling is 7-2-1 when scoring first, including wins against Johnstown on Dec. 5 and Toledo on Dec. 6.
* Thomas Beauregard recorded his sixth career ECHL hat trick against Johnstown on Dec. 5.
* Nailers play at Toledo on Wednesday and Kalamazoo on Saturday while hosting Gwinnett on Friday and Sunday.

American Conference - South Division

Charlotte Checkers
* Charlotte is tied for second in the league with 4.00 goals per game.
* Defenseman Julien Brouillette has a three-game point streak (1g-3a) and nine points (2g-7a) in his last seven games.
* Checkers play at Florida on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and at South Carolina on Sunday.

Florida Everblades

* Florida is fifth in the ECHL with 5,002 fans a game.
* Florida was held scoreless for the first time in 3-0 loss at Cincinnati on Dec. 5.
* Everblades host Charlotte on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Gwinnett Gladiators
* Gwinnett is 6-0-2 on the road.
* Brad Schell is seven assists shy of the Gwinnett career record of 253 by Jason Elders.
* Gladiators host Trenton on Wednesday before playing at Wheeling on Friday, Johnstown on Saturday and Wheeling on Sunday.

South Carolina Stingrays
* South Carolina has a seven-game winning streak, tying the longest streak in the league this season.
* Nikita Kashirsky is tied for the rookie lead with four game-winning goals after scoring the deciding goal at Gwinnett on Dec. 4.
* Stingrays host Trenton on Friday and Saturday and Charlotte on Sunday.

American Conference - East Division



Elmira Jackals

* Elmira leads the East Division with 82 goals and has allowed only 70 goals, the third lowest in the American Conference.
* Rookie Justin Donati is tied for the ECHL lead with 33 points (11g-22a).
* Jackals travel to Johnstown on Friday before playing at Toledo on Saturday and Sunday.

Johnstown Chiefs

* Johnstown leads the league on the penalty kill at home with 97.7 percent (43-for-44).
* Mike Bartlett scored his 50th ECHL goal on Dec. 4 against Wheeling.
* Chiefs host Elmira on Friday and Gwinnett on Saturday.

Reading Royals

* Reading is 6-0-0 against Trenton after sweeping a three-game weekend series.
* Ben Gordon (3g-9a) and Ryan Cruthers (3g-6a) each have seven-game point streak dating back to Nov. 25.
* Royals play at Kalamazoo on Wednesday before traveling to Cincinnati on Saturday and Sunday.

Trenton Devils

* Trenton took season-high 43 shots on Dec. 4 against Reading, including 21 in the first period which is also a season high.
* Defenseman Tim Kunes has four points (3g-1a) in his last three games including the game-tying goal with 12 seconds remaining on Dec. 6.
* Devils head to Gwinnett on Wednesday before playing at South Carolina on Friday and Saturday.

National Conference - West Division

Alaska Aces

* Alaska leads the ECHL with nine shorthand goals.

* Scott Reid leads the ECHL with a .923 save percentage.

* Aces host Stockton on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Idaho Steelheads

* Idaho has had two six-game winning streaks, Nov. 20-Dec. 3 and Oct. 16-30.

* Michael Olson had a goal and an assist against Alaska in his professional debut on Dec. 3.

* Steelheads host Ontario on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Utah Grizzlies

* Utah is first in the league on the power play with 24.4 percent (21-for-86).

* Mitch O'Keefe has allowed two goals or less in eight of his league-leading 10 wins and ranks fourth with a 2.61 goals-against average.

* Grizzlies visit Bakersfield on Friday and Saturday.

Victoria Salmon Kings

* Victoria is sixth in the league with a goals-against average of 3.09.
* Olivier Latendresse has five points (2g-3a) in his last five games.
* Salmon Kings host Las Vegas on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

National Conference - Pacific Division

Bakersfield Condors

* Bakersfield has won eight home games in a row at home, tying the team record set Mar. 14-Apr. 8, 2006.
* Andrew Ianiero has a four-game goal streak (4g) and a seven-game point streak (5g-5a).
* Condors host Utah on Friday and Saturday.

Las Vegas Wranglers

* Las Vegas has won its last three games.
* Matt Watkins has seven points (3g-4a) in his last six home games.
* Wranglers visit Victoria on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Ontario Reign

* Ontario is tied for second in the league with six shorthand goals.

* Greg Hogeboom has scored a goal in each of his last four home games (4g).

* Reign play at Idaho on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Stockton Thunder

* Stockton surpassed 1 million fans with 5,104 for its game against Bakersfield on Dec. 4.
* Judd Blackwater is tied for the ECHL lead with six power-play goals.
* Thunder play at Alaska on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
