The Sarnia Sting earned their third consecutive win on Saturday night - knocking off the Owen Sound Attack by a score of 4-1 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

With the win, Sarnia remains one point ahead of the Windsor Spitfires (who won 6-4 over Flint tonight) in the West Division Standings. The Sting, who are now 35-17-5-2 on the year, are just 6 wins away from tying the franchise record for most wins in a single season.

Despite allowing the Cianfrone goal on Owen Sound's first shot of the game, Charlie Graham was stellar in goal for the Sarnia Sting. The overage netminder turned aside 36 of 37 shots faced, earning his second win in as many nights. Montreal Canadiens' property, Michael McNivin took the loss in goal for the Attack, making 35 saves on 39 shots.

Ten minutes after Cianfrone opened the scoring for Owen Sound, sophomore centreman Anthony Salinitri tied things up on the doorstep for the Sting. Matt Mistele and Jordan Kyrou assisted on Salinitri's 2nd goal in the last two games.

Just 5:12 into period two, Kevin Spinozzi scored his 3rd of the season and the eventual game-winner. Noah Bushnell drew the lone assist on the go-ahead marker.

Moments after returning from a lengthy stint in the penalty box, Jakob Chychrun blasted home a Travis Konecny pass on the powerplay to give the Sting a two-goal cushion heading into the final stanza. Studnicka was also handed an assist on Chychrun's 10th of the season.

The first period started with some rough stuff in front of the Sting net as Jacob Busch's jab on Konecny caused a crowd.

Konecny got his revenge less than 1 minute later, scoring on the breakaway and icing the game for the Sarnia Sting.
