
Sting Acquire Anthony Tabak from the Sudbury Wolves

SARNIA, ON - Sarnia Sting General Manager, Nick Sinclair announced today that the Hockey Club has acquired 17-year-old forward Anthony Tabak from the Sudbury Wolves.
For immediate release: Thursday, January 10, 2019
At 6'5", 204 lbs Tabak is currently in his second Ontario Hockey League season after being chosen by the Wolves in the 3rd round (53rd overall) in the 2017 Priority Selection. In his time with the Wolves Anthony has suited up in 85 OHL contests recording 23 points (7 goals, 16 assists). See Anthony's player profile here.
In exchange for the Oakville, ON native the Wolves receive a 4th round selection (OS) in 2020 as a well as a conditional 2023 draft selection.
Sinclair comments on todays acquisition: "Anthony is big, mobile forward with exciting upside. We are excited to add Anthony to our current young core of players as we go forward. "
Tabak will make his Sarnia Sting debut tomorrow night when the Sting host the Ottawa 67's at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
