January 10, 2019 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release

Niagara IceDogs' General Manager Joey Burke has announced that the team has acquired goaltender Jake McGrath from the Sudbury Wolves.

In exchange, a 4th round selection (2022 - WSR) and a conditional 5th round selection (2023) were moved to Sudbury.

"This is an exciting pick up for us, Jake has been a starter for over two years in this league. He is used to pressure situations, and has the pedigree to provide us with a veteran stabilizing force to our goalie group. This move provides us with the depth we need with our goaltending to accomplish what we hope to this season. We couldn't be more excited to add Jake to our group" said GM Burke.

McGrath, in his third full season with the Wolves has posted a goals against average of 3.83 and a save percentage of .890.

The entire IceDogs organization is thrilled to welcome Jake to Niagara.
