Steelheads Complete Trade with Petes

MISSISSAUGA, ON - Steelheads General Manager, James Richmond made one last deal before today's 12:00PM OHL trade deadline. Heading to Peterborough in the deal is '00 born forward, Michael Little. In exchange for Little, the Steelheads receive left-shot forward, Nick Isaacson and a 3rd round pick in 2019 (OS).

Originally selected in the third round of the 2016 draft, Little - a Mississauga native - has posted 23 goals and 56 points in 149 career games with the Steelheads.

Richmond comments, "We would like to thank Michael and his family for their commitment to the Steelheads over the last 2.5 years. Michael is a super person that we wish all the best for in the future."

Nick Isaacson, who was originally a 5th round pick for the Petes in 2016, played his Minor Midget year with the Mississauga Reps. Since being drafted, Isaacson has skated in 137 OHL games; tallying 15 goals and 28 assists in that span. This season, the '99-born forward has set new career highs in goals (7), assists (14) and points (21) through 39 games.

In regards to the Steelheads return, Richmond adds, "We are excited to bring a Mississauga boy home in Nick Isaacson. Nick brings speed, compete and size and he's sure to help our Team through our Playoff quest. We would like to welcome Nick and his family to the Steelheads."

Isaacson is expected to make his Steelheads debut on Thursday night in North Bay and will be wearing #15.
