Boise, ID (4/2/13) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced the 2013 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs roster for the Idaho Steelheads on Tuesday, consisting of two goaltenders, seven defensemen, and eleven forwards.

The team is allowed to carry a maximum of 23 players on its playoff roster, meaning Ralph has three open spaces that he can use to add returning players from the American Hockey League at a later date.

The team's playoff roster is as follows:

Goaltenders (2) - Josh Robinson, Tyler Beskorowany

Defense (7) - Matt Case, Scott Todd, Steve Ferry, Hubert Labrie, Jace Coyle, James Isaacs, John Ryder

Forwards (11) - Austin Smith, Austin Fyten, Adrian Foster, David deKastrozza, Ian Watters, Brett Robinson, Tyler Gron, Ben Ondrus, Justin Taylor, Rylan Galiardi, Chase Schaber

Robinson and Labrie were both re-assigned to the Steelheads by the Dallas Stars organization (Labrie by Dallas, Robinson by Texas) earlier this week and are back with Idaho.

Ralph also named nine players eligible to return to Idaho during the playoffs that are currently on American Hockey League rosters - Sam Carrick, Brad Ross, Justin Dowling, Mathieu Tousignant, Patrick Cullity, Kael Mouillierat, Gord Baldwin, Andrew Carroll and Jeremie Blain. Up to three of those players may be added to Idaho's roster between now and the beginning of the conference finals.

Idaho opens the 2013 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs, presented by KeyBank, on Wednesday when the team hosts the Colorado Eagles at CenturyLink Arena in Boise. Game time is 7:10 PM.
