Galiardi Receives Plus Performer for March
April 2, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release
Boise, ID (4/2/13) - The Idaho Steelheads, in conjunction with the ECHL, announced Tuesday morning that Rylan Galiardi is the league's AMI Graphics Plus Performer of the Month for March.
The second-year forward led the ECHL during March with a plus-12 rating.
Galiardi had a plus/minus rating of even or better in 13 of Idaho's 14 games during the month, including plus-3's on March 1 vs. Utah and March 29 at San Francisco. He also picked up 12 points during the month to help the Steelheads secure the no. 3 seed in the upcoming ECHL Western Conference playoffs.
Galiardi was acquired via trade from San Francisco in February. His Plus Performer of the Month award comes one day after teammate Matt Case won the league's Plus Performer award for the season after generating the top plus/minus rating in the ECHL over the course of 72 games at plus-32.
