2013 Thunder Playoff Roster Announced

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, has announced the club's playoff roster, which was due to the ECHL league office at Noon PT on Monday.

STOCKTON THUNDER PLAYOFF ROSTER:

Goaltenders (2): Tyler Bunz, Olivier Roy

Defensemen (6) : Shawn Boutin, Ryan Constant, Tony DeHart, Daniel Gibb, Mike Little, Nik Pokulok

Forwards (11): Cameron Abney, Matt Bergland, Maxime Boisclair, Andrew Clark, Ryan Hayes, Garet Hunt, Eric Hunter, Gabriel Levesque, Matt Reber, Harrison Reed, Shawn Weller

Playoff Eligible List (6): Philippe Cornet, Brandon Davidson, Nathan Deck, Ryan Martindale, Kristians Pelss, Toni Rajala

Cornet, Davidson, Deck, Martindale, Pelss and Rajala are currently skating in the American Hockey League with the Oklahoma City Barons. A maximum of four players on the Thunder Playoff Eligible List can return from the AHL to active Thunder roster spots.

Throughout the Playoffs, but prior to the start of the Conference Finals, as the recalled Players listed on a Playoff Eligible List become available (due to assignment, release from PTO or their respective AHL teams' seasons having ended), teams shall be permitted to supplement their initial Playoff Rosters with Players listed on their Playoff Eligible Lists, up to a maximum of 23 Players total. Once a team has named a total of 23 Players to its Playoff Roster, or the Conference Finals have begun (whichever comes first), the team's Playoff Roster shall be fixed for the duration of the Playoffs (barring emergency conditions).

The Thunder opens its Kelly Cup Playoff schedule with Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals on Friday at Stockton Arena, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. (1360 AM KFIV/StocktonThunder.com).
