BOISE, Idaho - Paul Carter scored 18 and points and Derrick Caracter had 11 points and 11 rebounds as the Idaho Stampede (20-29) beat the Bakersfield Jam 96-80 at CenturyLink Arena.
David Bailey had five points, seven assists and just one turnover in the win, as the home team shot 50.7 percent from the floor and out-rebounded Bakersfield 53-36. Reggie Larry (11 points) and Mikki Moore each had seven rebounds, and Antoine Walker (nine points) and Carter both pulled down six. Willie Jenkins had 12 points off the bench, Seth Tarver added 13 and Chris Davis notched nine.
The Jam (28-21) were held to just 11 points in the first quarter and 17 in the second, while the Stampede led by as many as 24 on the night. Trey Johnson led the way for Bakersfield, scoring 17 points. Derrick Byars had 12 points and Juan Pattillo had 10, with no Jam starters reaching double-figures.
Idaho plays its final game of the 2011-12 season tomorrow night against Bakersfield at 7 p.m. (MST) at CenturyLink Arena.
