Bighorns Overpower Vipers

RENO, NEV.- The Reno Bighorns used a solid team effort in their game against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Friday night, seeing seven players score in double digits and overpowering the Vipers 124-111.

Memphis Grizzlies assignee Josh Selby was back with team and continued his dominating play with 27 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals to lead the Bighorns. David Harrison scored a season-high 24 points and added nine rebounds while Eric Devendorf continued his hot streak with 25 points.

The Bighorns shot 51.1 percent from the field, led by Harrison's 10-of-12 shooting, and held the D-League's top scoring Vipers to 44.6 percent, including 27.3 percent on three-pointers. As a team, the Bighorns grabbed 47 rebounds, had 13 steals and blocked five Viper shot attempts for a solid performance against head coach Paul Mokeski's former team.

Mo Charlo had 12 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks while Antoine Wright posted 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals for the Bighorns. Former Bighorn and current Houston Rocket assignee Courtney Fortson had 17 points and 13 assists for the Vipers.

The Bighorns play their final game of the season in Hidalgo, Texas against the Vipers on Saturday, April 7 at the State Farm Arena.
