PORTLAND, Maine, April 6, 2012 - Marcus Lewis posted 12 points and 12 rebounds for his 33rd double-double of the season and Jerome Dyson added a game-high 26 points, but the Tulsa 66ers (23-26) fell on the road to the Maine Red Claws (20-29) by a 100-99 final tally Friday night.
Also posting double-doubles for Tulsa was Larry Owens with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Ryan Reid with 20 points and 13 boards. Robert Vaden added 10 points.
Defensively, the 66ers forced 12 turnovers and created six steals, led by three thefts from Dyson. The 66ers were also strong on the boards by outrebounding the Red Claws by a 48-43 margin.
Tulsa racked up 14 assists on the offensive end, led by four dishes each from Lewis and Owens.
Kenny Hayes led the Red Claws with 23 points and Lawrence Hill paced the home team with eight rebounds.
The 66ers and Red Claws return to the court Saturday night, April 7, at 6 p.m. CT inside the Portland Expo Building. The contest will mark Tulsa's final of the 2011-12 season.
