St. Cloud, MN - St. Cloud (3-5) got a terrific start from RJ Martinez (Minot State), who hurled seven innings in the 7-2 win against the Duluth Huskies (5-3) in the series finale. The Rox recorded 10 hits in the victory.

After quickly falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first inning, the Rox scored Gus Steiger (South Dakota State) from third base after a balk was issued.

In the bottom of the third inning, St. Cloud loaded the bases and scored Ben Carew (Kent State) on a wild pitch to take a 2-1 lead.

With the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Rox would begin a stretch of four consecutive scoring innings. With two outs and the bases empty, Steiger drew a walk and Jordan Barth (Augustana) recorded an infield single. Brendan Tinsman (Wake Forest) singled to left field and scored Steiger to claim a 3-2 lead.

The Rox would plate two runs in the home half of the sixth inning, highlighted by a Steiger RBI double. The lead was extended to 5-2.
