June 5, 2019 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Duluth Huskies News Release
Duluth, Minn - This season Duluth Huskies fans will have dozens of opportunities to be a part of special events at Wade Stadium. An overview of the upcoming week's promotions will be posted every Wednesday so Huskies fans can stay in the loop about everything that is coming to Wade Stadium. This upcoming week we will have several promotions that fans will not want to miss out on.
Every single Monday home game is Every Monday Matters. On these days, if a fan brings either two non-perishable food items or two hygiene products, they will receive a half-price general admission ticket. Those donations will be directly sent to the Salvation Army.
On Friday, June 7th there will be two main promotional events. Prince Night will be coming to Wade Stadium as we celebrate the late artist's 61st birthday. All fans who wear purple to the game will receive $1 off of their ticket. Also, gates will open at 5 pm for the band Velahsa to perform before the game starting at 5:15 pm. They will play some of their music as well as cover Prince's music. Be sure to stick around after the game for fireworks. That evening will also be College Night. If college students show their school ID at the gate, they can get $5 general admission tickets and 2 for 1 light beers until the end of the 3rd inning.
Saturday, June 8th will be Tattoo Appreciation Night presented by Benchmark Tattoo and Fade Away Laser, so come through and show off your ink! One lucky fan will go home with a free half-day tattoo session, and those with regrettable tattoos will have the chance to win a free laser tattoo removal consultation and session.
The Huskies are ending the weekend on Sunday the 9th with Harley's Hiding. Fans who come down to solve clues and find Harley will receive a special prize.
Wisconsin residents will want to come out on Monday the 10th for Superior Day. All fans who show their Wisconsin ID at the gate will receive a discounted ticket. First pitch is at 6:35 pm.
The last promotion until next Wednesday will be Duluth Huskies Hat Night on Tuesday, June 11th. Huskies hats will be given away to fans that come out to Wade Stadium that day.
