Spokane Chiefs News Release

Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs returned home Friday night for a rare contest against the Raiders of Prince Albert. Spokane entered the game off the back of a 1-1 road trip last weekend, while Prince Albert went 1-1 in their last two games as well.

It was a chippy first period, controlled largely by the Raiders. Dawson Cowan stopped all 15 shots he faced in the first but it was Spokane first on the board at 13:10.

Bertholet used the Catton screen to fire the puck on net where Roulette was waiting and tipped it through the PA netminder.

It was a special moment for Roulette as his first period goal tonight marked his 200th career WHL point.

The veteran Winnipeg native also recorded his 200th career game earlier this month. Tonight's contest was Roulette's third consecutive game with a goal, making it seven goals across the last five games.

The second period featured a power play goal for the Raiders at 10:36, scored by Sloan Stanick and assisted by Aiden Oiring and Niall Crocker.

Spokane would take the lead once again with a rare goal from d-man Will McIsaac, his first of the season and just third of his career.

McIsaac let it rip from the blue line before it was tipped by a defender and through the legs of the Prince Albert goaltender. The teams headed to the break with Spokane ahead 2-1.

Lodewyk scored for Prince Albert to tie up the game early in the third period before adding the eventual game winner at 14:19.

Spokane peppered the goal down the stretch with PA's goalie making an impressive series of saves. The Chiefs eventually found the net as the final buzzer sounded but it was ruled no-good after official review.

Spokane finished the game 0-2 on the power play and 3/4 on the penalty kill. Chase Bertholet (2A) and Conner Roulette (1G, 1A) both finished with two points a piece while Dawson Cowan made 29 saves in net for the Chiefs.

Spokane is back in action tomorrow for another eventful night at the Spokane Arena. It is Coca-Cola Family Feast and Rally Towel Giveaway for the first 5,000 fans, School Night presented by Shriners Hospitals for Children, and Veteran's Day. Puck drop versus Kamloops is at 6:05 PM with doors open at 5 PM. There are less than 1,000 tickets available for the game with plenty of great seats still available! Get your tickets here.
