Williamsport looked poised to continue their three-game winning streak in the 1st inning when they took a 1-0 lead thanks to a pass ball and a throwing error by Spikes catcher Dante Rosenberg that allowed Justin Parr to score from 2nd base.

The Cutters would add on their lead in the bottom half of the 2nd inning when Logan Pierce scored on an error by Spikes 3rd basemen Carson Kelly to make it 2-0 after two innings.

State College would get on the scoreboard in the top half of the 3rd inning. Brett Wiley doubled to deep right center field to plate to plate Cesar Valera and cut the deficit to 2-1. The next batter, David Washington drove a Shane Martin offering deep over the left field wall to give the Spikes a 3-2 lead. It was Washington's 9th home run and 38th & 39th RBI on the season.

Williamsport would tie the game in the bottom of the 3rd inning when Andrew Knapp hammered his 4th home run over the left field wall off of Juan Bautista to make it 3-3. For Knapp, it was his 18 RBI.

In the top of the 4th inning, State College would continue to add on runs when Jimmy Bosco blasted his 3rd home run of the season to plate Mason Katz and make it 5-3 Spikes. It plated RBI 20 and 21 for Bosco and gave the Spikes the lead for good.

Williamsport would plate their final run in the 4th inning when Justin Parr tripled down the right field line to plate Malquin Canelo from 1st base to make it 5-4. It was RBI number 17 for Parr.

In the 5th inning Brett Wiley would score on a Malquin Canelo error that made it 6-4 in favor of the Spikes.

In the 7th inning, State College would plate two more runs when Ronald Castillio singled up the middle with the bases loaded to make it 8-4. For Castillo it was RBI number 17 & 18.

State College capped their scoring in the top of the 8th inning. Steven Ramos drilled a 2-0 Keivi Rojas offering over the left field wall to make it 9-4 Spikes. David Washington finished off the scoring when he doubled home Brett Wiley to make it 10-4. For Washington, it was his league leading 40th RBI.

Williamsport committed three errors in the game while State College committed four. State College would out hit Williamsport 15-13 in the contest.
