
Sparks announce 2006 roster

EL SEGUNDO, CA- The Los Angeles Sparks announced today their opening night roster for the 2006 season. The Sparks welcome back the return of six players, Doneeka Hodges-Lewis, Chamique Holdsclaw, Lisa Leslie, Mwadi Mabika, Jessica Moore and Christi Thomas. The Sparks are pleased to introduce former Washington Mystics teammates Temeka Johnson and Murriel Page, Sparks newcomer Tamara Moore and rookies Brandi Davis, Emmeline Ndongue, Dalivorka Vilipic and Lisa Willis.
The Sparks will ignite their 10th Anniversary Season in Seattle on May 21st against the Storm. The team will host the Detroit Fever on June 7th with their home opener at STAPLES Center. Tickets are available at the STAPLES Center box office, all Ticketmaster locations or by visiting the Sparks website at www.lasparks.com.
