Mystics set final roster

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Mystics announced its final roster for the 2006 season. The team will kick off the season this Tuesday at Verizon Center against Eastern Conference rival, New York Liberty at 7:00 p.m. The roster features four All-Stars, Alana Beard, Chasity Melvin, DeLisha Milton-Jones and Washington D.C. native, Nikki Teasley. Veterans Crystal Robinson and Coco Miller will also be on this year's roster.

"We believe that we have put together a winning team. We have strong leadership, we have veteran players who have WNBA championships. We have young players who will continue to get better which gives us a nice mix of experience and energy" said General Manager Linda Hargrove.
