Sound Tigers Sign Reiter, Release Clarke

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Sound Tigers announced tonight following their win over Syracuse they have signed goaltender Kenny Reiter to an amateur tryout contract (ATO) and released goaltender Dan Clarke from his ATO.

Reiter, 25, joins the Sound Tigers following the conclusion of his collegiate career at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The Pittsburgh, PA native posted a 23-9-6 record with a 2.43 GAA and a .911 save percentage this season before being ousted by Boston College at the NCAA Northeast Regionals late in March. Reiter backstopped the Bulldogs to the NCAA Men's Division I Hockey Championship in 2010-11, and amassed a 52-26-11 record in three seasons at Minnesota-Duluth.

Clarke, 23, joined the Sound Tigers on March 20 on an ATO. The Belleville, ON native served as Kevin Poulin's backup over the past nine games and did not appear in a game.
