Blue Jackets Recall Forward Maksim Mayorov from AHL's Springfield Falcons

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have added forward Maksim Mayorov to the roster on emergency recall from the Springfield Falcons, Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, club Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced today.

Mayorov, 22, has collected 1-1-2 and two penalty minutes in 10 games with Columbus this season. In 22 career NHL games, he has notched 2-1-3 and two penalty minutes. He has recorded 10-13-23 and 10 penalty minutes in 43 games with the Falcons this season. In his fourth season playing in North America, he has tallied 63-56-119 and 80 penalty minutes in 259 career AHL games. A native of Andizhan, Russia, he was the Blue Jackets' fifth pick, 94th overall, in the 2007 Entry Draft.
