Sound Tigers seeking singers

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will hold open auditions for national anthem singers this Saturday, October 15th at 12 noon at The Rinks at Shelton at 784 River Road in Shelton. Anyone interested in singing the national anthem prior to Sound Tigers home games at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard is invited to this Saturday's audition.

Interested singers should register on the mezzanine level of The Rinks at Shelton beginning at 12 noon this Saturday. They will then be asked to perform the national anthem without musical accompaniment. Singers under the age of 18 should attend with a parent or legal guardian. The Sound Tigers will finish a season-opening stretch of four straight road games when they visit the Binghamton Senators this Saturday evening at 7:05 p.m. They will open the home portion of the schedule next Saturday and Sunday, October 22nd and 23rd when they host the Portland Pirates that Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins that Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
