Sound Tigers Release Blight from PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn ‚¬" The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced Sunday that they have released forward Chris Blight from his professional tryout contract (PTO).

Blight made his debut with the Sound Tigers on Nov. 19 at Providence and recorded a win in their 4-3 overtime win over the P=2DBruins. The Cambridge, ON native appeared in 13 games for the Sound Tigers and recorded four points (one goal, three assists), including his first career AHL goal against Norfolk on Nov. 28. Blight returns to the Reading Royals of the ECHL where he has two goals and eight assists in six games.
