SHELTON, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, lost 3-2 in overtime to the Hartford Wolf Pack at The Rinks at Shelton Monday to finish their three-game preseason schedule unbeaten-in-regulation at 1-0-1-1.
Hartford took the first lead on a power-play goal by Craig Weller 7:27 into the game off assists from Thomas Pock and Colby Genoway, but the Sound Tigers answered with a goal of their own on the advantage with 1:56 left in the opening frame as veteran defenseman Allan Rourke scored for the fourth time this preseason off assists from Vince Macri and Matt Koalska.
The Wolf Pack regained the lead at 2-1 when Alexandre Giroux corralled a loose puck at the blue line and raced in alone for an unassisted goal 7:03 into the second period, but the Sound Tigers once again answered late in the frame when Paul Flache scored at the 18:00 mark off assists from Steve Regier and Ryan Caldwell.
After the teams tied for shots with seven apiece but were unable to score in the third period, Bryce Lampman notched the game winner for Hartford 2:49 into the extra session off assists from Ivan Baranka and Jozef Balej.

Al Montoya played all 62:49 for the Wolf Pack stopping 28 of 30 shots. Hartford was 1 for 8 on the power play while the Sound Tigers were 1 for 6 and had a 30-28 shots on goal advantage.
