Kings assign left wing Giuliano to Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have assigned left wing Jeff Giuliano to the Monarchs, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.

Giuliano, 26, appeared in four preseason games with the Kings, recording one assist and eight penalty minutes. The 5-foot-9, 205-pound native of Nashua, New Hampshire, appeared in 69 games for the Monarchs last season, collecting a career high 24 points (8-16=24) and 24 penalty minutes.

Today's transaction leaves the Kings with 28 players on their training camp roster (17 forwards, nine defenseman and two goaltenders).

The Monarchs have assigned goaltender Ryan Munce to the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Munce, 20, appeared in 55 games with the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League during the 2004-05 season. A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Munce had a record of 12-32-6, a goals-against-average of 3.17 and a save-percentage of .909 with the Sting last season.

The Monarchs have 25 players remaining on their 2005 preseason roster (14 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders).
