Solar Bears to Face off against Cincinnati in Kelly Cup Playoffs

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced tonight that they will face-off against the Cincinnati Cyclones in the Eastern Conference Kelly Cup Quarterfinals. The best of seven series, presented by Walgreens, opens at the Amway Center this Thursday, April 17 at 7pm.

The "2-3-2" format is scheduled as follows:

Game 1: Thursday, April 17 th at ORLANDO 7:00pm

Game 2: Sunday, April 20 th at ORLANDO 7:00pm

Game 3: Wednesday, April 23 th at Cincinnati 7:35pm

Game 4: Friday, April 25 th at Cincinnati 7:35pm

*Game 5: Saturday, April 26 th at Cincinnati 7:35pm

*Game 6: Tuesday, April 29 th at ORLANDO 7:00pm

*Game 7: Wednesday, April 30 th at ORLANDO 7:00pm

Orlando Solar Bears playoff tickets for the 2014 Kelly Cup Playoffs are on sale NOW. Tickets can be purchased at the Amway Center Box Office or online at OrlandoSolarBearsHockey.com or Ticketmaster.com.

Orlando concluded the regular season in fourth place in the Eastern Conference (2nd place in the South Division) with a 4 3 -24-2-3 record for 91 points, while Cincinnati posted a 41-23-4-4 record (90 points) and finished fifth in the Eastern Conference (2 nd in the North Division). The Solar Bears and Cyclones swapped road victories this season. Orlando won 4-2 in Cincinnati on November 13 th and Cincinnati won 5-1 on March 26 th at the Amway Center.
