Komets Announce Eastern Conference Playoffs Opening Round Schedule

Fort Wayne Komets News Release
Fort Wayne, IN --- The Komets announced their opening round schedule of the ECHL Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series Sunday. The eighth-seed Komets will face number one seed Reading in a 2-3-2 series. The best-of-seven series opens at Santander Arena (7,160) in Reading, Pennsylvania Thursday, April 17 at 7:05pm. Game 2 will be held at Reading Saturday, April 19 at 7:05pm.
The series switches to the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne for games 3, 4 and if necessary, game 5. Game 3 is slated for Thursday, April 24 at 7:30pm. Game 4 will be held Friday, April 25 at 8pm. And game 5, if necessary, will faceoff Sunday, April 27 at 6pm.
If game 6 is needed it will be held at Reading Tuesday, April 29 at 7:05pm. Game 7, if necessary, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at Reading at 7:05pm. All times are Eastern.
