The two teams met in the first round last season, with Idaho advancing to the Western Conference semifinals after a six-game series victory. Three of the six games went to overtime, including Idaho's decisive game-six victory.
Head to Head: Idaho won seven of nine matchups between the two teams this season, including all five games in Boise. The two teams split four games in Colorado.
About Colorado: The high-powered Eagles boast three of the ECHL's top ten scorers in Kyle Ostrow, Trent Daavatilla and Kevin Ulanski. Both Ostrow and Daavatilla were selected as 2nd-Team All-ECHL performers. But it was defenseman Kevin Young who led Colorado with nine points in nine games against the Steelheads this season.
Western Conference Playoff Bracket: The winner of the Idaho/Colorado series will advance to meet the winner of the top-seeded Alaska Aces and eighth-seeded Las Vegas Wranglers. The other half of the bracket consists of (2) Ontario versus (7) Stockton and (3) Utah versus (6) Bakersfield.
Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues, or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise. Ticket prices are discounted and you can get a Pepsi, Double-R Ranch Hot Dog, and bag of Tim's Cascade Chips with each ticket.
