ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that goaltender Ryan Massa has been loaned to the Toronto Marlies.

Massa, 25, has appeared in 14 games with Orlando this season, sporting a 5-7-1 record with one shutout, a 3.49 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage. The rookie netminder was also loaned to the team's AHL affiliate once earlier in the season and appeared in one game for the Marlies, making 27 saves in a 3-1 road victory over the Syracuse Crunch on Nov. 27.

The Solar Bears host the South Carolina Stingrays as they continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A. on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center.
