
Admirals Release Goalie Philippe Cadorette and Forward Bryan McGregor

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announce that the club has released rookie goaltender Philippe Cadorette and forward Bryan McGregor.
Cadorette, 20, made four appearances for Norfolk in his first professional season out of Baie-Comeau in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder from St. Hyacinthe, QC finished with a record of 0-1-0, a 6.58 goals-against average (GAA), and .820 save percentage (SV%).
McGregor, 31, skated in just one game for the Admirals, the 2-1 victory over Adirondack on Dec. 19 at Scope. The Niagara Falls, ON product went scoreless in his lone Admirals appearance, but scored two goals and three assists for the Brampton Beast in 18 games this season. The 6-foot, 207-pound forward has signed on with MMKS Podhale Nowy Targ, a club in the Polish Hockey League.
Norfolk continues a four-game road trip Tuesday night in Georgia against the Atlanta Gladiators.
