
Soft Bowl I Announces Prep Roster

SIOUX CITY, IA -Matt Chatham of the New York Jets will be hosting a Charity Softball Game at Lewis & Clark Park, home of your Sioux City Explorers Professional Baseball Team on June 21st, 2008. First pitch is set for 12:15 pm with an autograph session to begin at 10:30 AM.
The Prep Roster will include the following individuals from the three area Sioux City High Schools. Representing Sioux City West High School will be Chase Shanafelt, Brittney Mathison, Anthony Henriks, and Justin Collins with Dalton Giorgenti serving as the Guitar Hero Representative. Sioux City East High School will be represented by Dane Larson, Eric Jorgensen, Kathleen Reynolds, Courtney McCarthy and Chris Strawn as the Guitar Hero Representative. Rounding out the area high school prep stars will be Stephanie Robinson, Leland Scarlett, RJ Hudson, Jake Longtin and Guitar Hero Representative Jayson Blakey from Sioux City North High School
Soft Bowl I is proud to announce its partnership with Sioux City's Z-98, who will be providing a live remote broadcast from Lewis and Clark Park prior to the game, and then present Omaha, NE rock tribute virtuosos, 3D, live and in concert on the BBQ deck at Lewis and Clark Park immediately following the game. Soft Bowl is a family-friendly charity event that will feature a softball game of the pros versus a team comprised of current Sioux City High School stars (Sioux City North, Sioux City East, and Sioux City West), as well as live music, and a silent auction. The Soft Bowl I Guitar Hero Challenge will also be performed in-between innings during the game by representatives from North, East, and West and an autograph session will be held prior to the game starting at 10:30 AM. All proceeds to equally benefit the activities departments of all the three Sioux City public high schools.
