
Snappers Pound out 19 Hits in Victory

The Beloit Snappers set a team high with 19 hits in the victory over the Burlington Bees Sunday afternoon, 11-5.
Six offense batters for the Snappers had multiple hits with Daniel Santana going perfect at the plate with a 4-for-4 day. Steven Liddle and Aaron Hicks had three hits each and scored three times as well.
With a Kane County loss the Snappers now sit only a game out of the final playoff spot with eight games to go in the regular season.
The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" is Steven Liddle who fell just shy of hitting for the cycle. Liddle went 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored and drove in four runs in the offensive explosion.
The Snappers will send left Matire Garcia to the mound Monday night as the Snappers look to gain ground in the playoff race. Game time is scheduled for 7:00PM with gates opening at 6:00PM.
