The Snappers announce the dates for their annual baseball camps. The General Camp will be held on June 14-15, while the Pitching Camp will be held on August 2-3. Each camp will be from 9:00am to noon each day at Pohlman Field. Snappers coaches and players will provide professional instruction for youngsters ages 7-14, with a participant-to-instructor ratio of 15-to-1. Players will also be available to answer questions and sign autographs for camp participants. Campers will need to provide their own glove and shoes. Each camp participant will receive an official camp T-shirt and complimentary ticket to a Snappers Baseball game on the second night of each camp. Each participant will also have a chance to participate in pre-game activities. Lunch will be provided for the campers on each day following the camp. Registration fee is $50 per child for the two-day general camp if registered before Friday, June 10, and $60 per child after June 10. Registration fee is $40 per child for the two day pitching and throwing camp if registered before Friday, July 29 and $50 per child after July 29. The Snappers first deck party of the season is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16 and will be catered by La Casa Grande. Tickets for this event cost $30 apiece and include your ticket to the game and the rights to a buffet meal and all you care to drink beer, wine and soda. The deck party begins at 6:00 pm and will last until 10:00 pm. Tickets are limited to the first 225 people, so be sure to get your tickets soon.
Kids Club members are invited to attend an Applebee's Kids Club breakfast with the Snappers on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 8:00am at the Beloit Applebee's on Cranston Road. The breakfast is exclusively for Kids Club members only. Breakfast will begin shortly after 8:00am and will last about an hour and a half. There is no cost involved, since the breakfast is part of the Kids Club benefits. Seating is limited, so the Snappers are asking those interested in attending to please R.S.V.P. by Sunday, June 12th. Parents are welcome to attend, but due to limited seating, kids and Snappers come first and no guarantee is made for the parents to have a seat or to eat breakfast. The Snappers and the Filling Station Bar & Restaurant are excited to announce a bus trip to Miller Park to watch their parent club; the Minnesota Twins take on the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, June 25th. Cost for this trip is $45, which includes a Loge infield box ticket, the bus ride, beer and snacks on the bus, tailgating at the park, and door prizes for Snapper merchandise. One Bus will load at 12:00pm from the Filling Station Bar & Restaurant with a second bus leaving from Pohlman Field at 2:00 pm. The buses will return immediately after the game.
