CEDAR RAPIDS, IA -- Three Cedar Rapids Kernel pitchers shutout the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on six hits for a 2-0 win. Jesse Smith pitched seven innings and struckout six for the win. Richard Giannotti hit a solo homer in the third inning. Wisconsin dropped three out of four games to the last place Kernels and ended their twelve game road trip 8-4.
