Snappers Fall in 10

The Snappers are trapped in the middle of a 4-game losing streak and can't seem to get out. The Clinton LumberKings scored a run in the bottom of the tenth inning to be the Snappers in extras for the second time in three days.
Clinton powered their way to a 6-0 lead after six, highlighted by a two-run double off the bat of Mauro Gomez in the bottom of the third.
Beloit clawed their way back with single runs in both the seventh and eighth inning. After a scoreless bottom half of the eighth by the LumberKings, the Snappers exploded in the ninth. Garrett Olson hit a two-run double, Danny Valencia hit a run scoring single, and Joe Benson had a sacrifice fly to tie the game at 6-6.
After reliever, Dan Leatherman, loaded the bases in the bottom of the tenth, Adam Revelette came on and gave up the game winning single to Clinton's Jose Vallejo. With the loss Beloit dropped to 3-4 on the year.
Upcoming schedule: The Snappers play game one of four with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Tuesday at 6:35 pm. They are in the middle of a ten game road trip. Beloit will be returning home for games three and four of the four game series against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Thursday, April 19th - Friday, April 20th.
