
Dragons Add Former Bobcat to Roster

Dayton, OH - The Cincinnati Reds have assigned RHP Anthony Gressick to the active roster of the Dayton Dragons. Gressick joins the team from Reds Extended Spring Training program and will take the roster spot made available when LHP Jamie Arneson was placed on the disabled list with a sore elbow, retroactive to Saturday, April 14th.
Gressick was a 26th round selection of the Reds in the 2006 First Year Player Draft out of Ohio University. In 2006 with the Billings Mustangs, Gressick went 6-2 in 14 starts with a 4.50 ERA. While at OU Gressick was named a two time American Baseball Coaches Association All-American and was school's Male Scholar-Athlete of the year in 2006. Gressick will be in uniform for the Dragons as Dayton opens a four game series against the Swing of the Quad Cities at Fifth Third Field on Tuesday night beginning at 7 PM.
