
Skyforce Hosts 66ers on Saturday Night

Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release
Sioux Falls, S.D. (December 10, 2008) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce will host the Tulsa 66ers on Saturday night at the Sioux Falls Arena. MetaBank, the sponsor of Saturday night's game, has partnered with the Salvation Army and employees/volunteers from both organizations will be on hand to collect boxed or canned food items before the game in this Season of Cheering event.
Saturday night's game tips off at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:15 p.m. The first 500 fans to donate a boxed or canned food item will receive a free Skyforce t-shirt courtesy of MetaBank. The food items will be distributed by the Salvation Army to those in need throughout the holiday season.
Tulsa (2-3) is coached by former Skyforce head/assistant coach Paul Woolpert. Former NBA player and current 66er Ronald Dupree is averaging a team-leading 26.3 points while former Skyforce assignee and first overall draft pick Chris Richard is averaging 9.8 points and a team-leading 7.8 rebounds.
The Skyforce's next game is on Thursday, Dec. 10 on the road against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Tipoff is set for 11 a.m. at Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, Texas.
