TUESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Tuesday's games
San Antonio Spurs assignee Anthony Tolliver led the Toros to a 117-91 victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Blake Ahearn, also on assignment from the Spurs, recorded 17 points and nine assists. Tolliver and teammate Andre Brown led all players with 11 rebounds each.
Frank Williams finished with 20 points, while Gary Forbes added 18 for the Skyforce.
Eddie Gill, in his first game back with the 14ers, finished two rebounds shy of a triple-double and James Mays chalked up a season high 37 points as the Colorado 14ers defeated the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 135-121.
Trent Strickland led the offensive charge for Rio Grande Valley as he tied his season high with 26 points. Smush Parker finished two rebounds shy of a triple-double as he scored 23 and dished out 12 assists. Alpha Bangura also chipped in with 23 points and eight boards.
Ronald Dupree erupted for 35 points and five rebounds for the Tulsa 66ers. Steven Hill contributed19.
Tierre Brown and James White each posted 25 points and Cedric Bozeman scored 21.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
17 players with D-League experience competed in eight NBA games last night, three as starters. Here are the highlights:
Starter Jose Juan Barea finished with 21 points and five assists in 40 minutes of play for the Dallas Mavericks. Teammate Brandon Bass chipped in nine points and five rebounds.
In 19 minutes of play, Bucks guard Ramon Sessions contributed nine points and four assists.
Andray Blatche scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds in the Wizards 107-94 win over the Pistons.
