Arsenal Fall to 66ers 94 - 97

December 10, 2008 - NBA G League (G League)
Anaheim Arsenal News Release

ANAHEIM, CA, DEC. 9, 2008 - Three Arsenal players recorded 20+ points, but it was not enough to lead the team to victory falling short by three points to the visiting 66ers, 94 - 97. Cedric Bozeman scored 21, while both James White and Tierre Brown led the Arsenal with 25 a piece. Brown also led the team in assists with 5.

Ronald Dupree led the Tulsa attack with 35 points. Tulsa jumped out to a 26 - 12 lead after the first quarter. Anaheim would find their offensive rhythm in the second half when they took the lead in the late third and early fourth quarter. However, Dupree's 12-for-23 shooting night helped lead Tulsa to victory.

Before the game, the Arsenal acquired guard, Geno Carlisle from Cal. The 6'4" 205-pound guard played 9 minutes, recording 4 points and 1 assist.

The Arsenal will play their next three games on the road, against the D-Fenders, Bighorns, and the Jam. Anaheim returns home on Thursday, December 18, against NBA Development League defending champions, Idaho Stampede, at 7:00pm at the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center.
