
Los Angeles Acquires Anthony Coleman

EL SEGUNDO, CA - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired forward Anthony Coleman and waived forward Dominique Scales, it was announced today. The active roster now stands at 10.
Coleman, 6-11 215lb., was drafted in the third round of the 2008 NBA Development League Draft by the Idaho Stampede. The 6-11, 215lb. forward played with the Bakersfield Jam in the NBA D-League in 2006-07, averaging 6.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 49 games. Most recently he spent the 2007-08 season in Germany, averaging 4.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 30 games for New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig. Coleman finished his collegiate career at Long Beach State after spending his first two years at Xavier.
Scales, the D-Fenders third round selection, averaged 0.7 points, 1.0 rebound and 0.3 blocks in three games for Los Angeles.
Coleman will wear #21 for tonight's game against Anaheim.
