Skyforce Acquires Davis from BayHawks

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Nov. 5, 2012) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired forward Mike Davis from the Erie BayHawks in exchange for center Keith Benson and guard Nick Covington. Davis was acquired by Erie from the Reno Bighorns in a separate trade earlier today.

Selected fifth overall in the 2012 NBA Development League Draft, Davis averaged 9.3 points and 6.6 rebounds in four seasons (138 games) at the University of Illinois. The 6-9, 225-pound forward earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors after averaging 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds as a senior.

Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs for the 2012-13 season are on sale. Discounts and benefits are available for groups of 10 or more. Single game tickets will go on sale on Friday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. The home opener is set for Saturday, Nov. 24 against the Iowa Energy. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at the Sioux Falls Arena.
