Jam Acquire Cam Tatum from Energy

BAKERSFIELD, November 5, 2012 - The Bakersfield Jam have acquired rookie forward Cam Tatum (6-7, 195, Tennessee) from the Iowa Energy in exchange for guard Mustapha Farrakhan.

A Lithonia, GA native, Tatum finished his Tennessee career ranked second on the school's all-time games played list (138), 10th on the list for 3-pointers made (155) and 41st on UT's career scoring list (1,083 points). He is one of only eight Vols ever to log at least 1,000 points, 400 rebounds and 200 assists in a career.

As a senior last season, Tatum averaged 8.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 29.1 minutes per game.

The Bakersfield Jam open the 2012-13 season on the road against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Friday November 23 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The Jam home opener comes a week later on Thursday, November 29 when they host the Idaho Stampede at 7:00 p.m. PT.
