Vipers Acquire Murry and Ohlbrecht Through Trades

MCALLEN, Texas -- The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers today announced that they have acquired Toure Murry from the Austin Toros in exchange for Patrick Sullivan, and Tim Ohlbrecht from the Springfield Armor in exchange for Ben Uzoh.

Murry was selected 15^th overall in the D-League Draft Nov. 2 by the Toros. The 6-5, 200 lb. guard played four seasons for the Wichita State Shockers, where he averaged 12.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 28.8 minutes.

Ohlbrecht is a 6-11, 255 lb. center from Germany. Most recently, Ohlbrecht was a member of the Fraport SKY for the 2011-12 season, and has played on several other teams throughout the German league. Ohlbrecht is also a member of the German National Team and is expected to participate in the 2013 FIBA EuroBasket qualifiers.
