Skyforce Acquire Returning Rights to Xavier Gibson, 2019 3rd Round Pick

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired the returning player rights to Xavier Gibson along with a 2019 3rd Round Draft Pick from the Lakeland Magic in exchange for Sioux Falls' own 2019 1st Round Draft Pick.
Gibson, a 6-11, 220-pound forward, played four years of collegiate basketball at Florida State where he averaged career totals of 4.9 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. As a senior during the 2011-12 season, Gibson averaged career-highs of 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field. Gibson appeared in 22 games last season (four starts) for the Lakeland Magic while averaging 9.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in just under 17 minutes per game.
