Austin Spurs Select Connor Burchfield in the 2018 NBA G League Draft

AUSTIN, TX - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, selected guard Connor Burchfield as their first pick (Round One, 26th overall) in Saturday's 2018 NBA G League Draft. Burchfield (6-4, 176) played four seasons at William & Mary where he averaged 6.8 points and 1.9 assists in 111 games played. The Concord, North Carolina native led the NCAA in three-point field goal percentage last season, shooting 52 percent (89-171) from beyond the arc.

Austin also selected Jordan Johnson (Round Two, 53rd overall), Nick Dixon (Round Three, 80th overall) and DeJuan Blair (Round Four, 107th overall) in the G League's four round selection process.

The Austin Spurs host the Texas Legends for opening night on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Prior to the game a Championship Celebration, presented by Wells Fargo, will take place during which the 2018 NBA G League Championship banner will be revealed and the player ring ceremony will take place. All fans in attendance will receive a commemorative 2018 NBA G League Championship ring.
