Legends Draft Two, Announce Training Camp Roster

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends selected two players in today's 2018 NBA G League Draft, completing a trade with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants to finalize the 2018-19 training camp roster. Camp will begin Monday, Oct. 22nd and will see 15 players competing for a spot on the team.
Texas sent the returning player rights to Donald Sloan and the draft rights to Texas' 74th overall selection, Casey Jones, to Fort Wayne in exchange for draft rights to Marquez Letcher-Ellis, Fort Wayne's pick (#41 overall).
Letcher-Ellis (6-7, 205, Rice) played two years at Rice breaking the starting lineup both seasons. In 67 career games, the Houston native averaged 8.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks.
Later in the second round, Texas selected Lexus Williams with the 47th overall pick. Williams (6-0, 187, Boise State) played three years at Valparaiso before transferring to Boise State where he averaged 9.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 32 games as a senior.
The training camp roster consists of five returning players, four affiliate players, four local tryout players, and two draft picks. The complete roster is as follows:
