Erie BayHawks Finalize Training Camp Roster

ERIE, PA - The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today the finalization of its 2018 training camp roster. Camp will begin on Tuesday, October 23 at 9 a.m. at Penn State-Behrend, Erie Hall.

The year's training camp roster features a pair of Atlanta Hawks two-way players, Jaylen Adams and Alex Poythress, two Atlanta Hawks affiliate players, C.J. Anderson and Isaac Humphries, and three 2018 NBA G League Draft selections, Terrell Miller Jr. (Round 1, Pick 5), Sanjay Lumpkin (Round 1, Pick 21) and Tommy Hamilton IV (Round 2, Pick 45).

The BayHawks will also have six returning players, including 2015 first-round NBA Draft pick R.J. Hunter (28th overall, Boston Celtics). Hunter's returning player rights were acquired on August 31, 2018 in a trade with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Rounding out this year's training camp roster includes two local tryout invitees and one draft day trade acquisition.

The BayHawks completed a trade with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers today, acquiring Branden Jenkins. In exchange, the Vipers will receive Erie's third-round pick in the 2019 NBA G League Draft. Rio Grande Valley selected Jenkins (6-4, 180) in the third-round of today's NBA G League Draft (76th overall). The Maywood, IL, native played collegiately at Lee College (2013-16), before transferring to Louisiana State University (2016-17).

The BayHawks will begin training camp on Tuesday, October 23 at Penn State-Behrend, Erie Hall. Media members will have access to the final 30 minutes of each session, followed by media availability. General Manager Derek Pierce, Head Coach Noel Gillespie and all players will be made available, upon request. All media requests should be made through Billy Hartman. Both morning and evening practice sessions are closed to the public.
