Oklahoma City, Okla. - Five pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout, the first shutout win of the season for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (55-66), in a 3-0 win over the Oklahoma City RedHawks (54-67) before 9,986 Saturday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown.

Colorado Springs starter Joey Williamson (1-1) allowed three hits with one walk and seven strikeouts in five innings during his second Triple-A start. Oklahoma City starter Andy Van Hekken (1-1) suffered a tough-luck loss with one run and six hits in five and two-thirds innings, while lowering his second-best PCL ERA from 3.22 to 3.14. Jim Miller (20) saved the game for the Sky Sox.

The Sky Sox opened the scoring in the sixth inning when Michael Paulk led off with a double, moved to third on a single and scored on a Joe Mather sacrifice fly for a 1-0 score.

Colorado Springs drove in another run in the seventh inning when Warren Schaeffer reached on an error, moved to third on a single and scored on a Jesus Merchan sacrifice fly for a 2-0 lead.

The Sky Sox added a third and final run in the ninth inning when Paulk delivered a third straight single to score former Houston Astro Willy Taveras for a 3-0 final.

Colorado Springs, with the highest team ERA in the PCL, used Williamson for five innings, Keith Weiser for one-third of an inning, Sean White for one and two-thirds innings, Eric Stults for one and one-thirds innings and Jim Miller for two-thirds of an inning in the shutout.
