SJ Sharks Assign Goaltender Thomas Greiss to Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the team has assigned goaltender Thomas Greiss to the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

In 19 career NHL games with San Jose, Griess has posted a 7-5-2 record with a 2.77 goals-against average.

The six-foot-one, 210-pound goaltender was selected by the Sharks in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft (3rd round, 94th overall).
