Six Straight Runs Fuel Chihuahuas Win

The El Paso Chihuahuas fell behind early but scored six unanswered runs and beat the Albuquerque Isotopes 6-1 Monday night. El Paso has won three games in a row and 11 of its last 13.

Chris Huffman moved in from the bullpen to make the start and allowed only one run in five innings. Diego Goris went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run for the Chihuahuas. Forrestt Allday and Allen Craig both reached base three times on two hits and a hit by pitch.

Neither team scored in the final four innings Monday. The victory clinched El Paso's third straight series win. The Chihuahuas have a 6-2 record through eight games in their current nine-game homestand.
