Silvertips to Host September 18 Preseason Home Game vs. Portland

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) announced in conjunction with the Western Hockey League today that a venue change will schedule XFINITY Arena as the host of a Friday, Sept. 18 preseason game between the Silvertips and Portland Winterhawks at 7:05 p.m.

The two teams will face off for the third and final time of preseason, featuring the second preseason meeting at XFINITY Arena. Everett will host back-to-back games in as many nights for the final weekend of preseason, with Friday's game followed by a Saturday night (7:05 p.m.) matchup against the Victoria Royals.

Tickets offer general admission seating, on sale now for $13 (fees may apply) at the Silvertips business offices and XFINITY Arena box office during normal business hours.

Silvertips season ticket holders who have purchased the preseason 10-pack will receive the Sept. 18 game vs. Portland free of charge, and will be e-mailed by a Silvertips ticket representative with a confirmation and instructions on obtaining their ticket.

The Silvertips are 4-1-0 in the 2015-16 preseason and have defeated Portland in the first two matchups, the most recent on Friday afternoon in a 3-1 victory at Toyota Center in Kennewick, Wash.

Single-game tickets for all regular season games at XFINITY Arena are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.xfinityarenaeverett.com, by phone at (866) 332-8499 or at the XFINITY Arena box office during normal business hours.
