PREVIEW: The Shorebirds went scoreless over the final six innings and the Suns took game one 7-3 on Monday night. Hagerstown scored the final five runs of the game. The Shorebirds have lost seven games in a row, which matches their season long (May 25-31). After starting June 5-3, the Shorebirds are 2-10 in their last 12 games.

RBI-LESS STRETCH OVER: Brenden Webb went 11 straight games without an RBI between June 2 and June 21 before hitting homers in each of the last two games.

LAYOFF: Due to the all-star break and a six-man rotation, Matt Taylor last pitched on June 17.

12 OF 35: 12 of the Shorebirds 35 total home runs (39 percent) have come against the Hagerstown Suns this season. The Shorebirds have hit at least one home run in eight of 12 meetings against the Suns. For comparison, in 14 meetings against Kannapolis, the Shorebirds have just four home runs.

SAWYER ENJOYING BEST STRETCH: Wynston Sawyer has hit safely in six straight games (11-for-25, .440), a season long. His batting average has jumped from .164 to .211 during the hit streak. Sawyer has four straight multi-hit games, a season best. Sawyer had just two total multi-hit games in his first 39 games played.

NARRON'S JUNE: Narron has six RBIs in his last four games played and 16 RBIs in the month of June. Narron also has three multi-hit games in his last four games and a .347 batting average in June. He ranks second in the month of June behind Robbie Widlansky of Bowie (.414).
